Cherry Nut Clovers

• 4 eggs, yolks and whites separated

• 175 grams caster sugar

• 200 grams almonds, finely chopped

• Candied red and green cherries to taste

• Icing sugar for sprinkling

Beat the egg yolks and sugar together until thick. Stir in almonds.

Beat the egg whites until stiff. Combine the egg whites into the egg yolk batter. Cover and put in the fridge for 4 hours.

Preheat the oven to 200°C. Put some baking paper onto the baking pan.

Put some castor sugar into your hands before making a rounded shape with the cookie dough. Make 3 rounded cookies and attach them to each other. Garnish with candied cherries

Bake for about 20 minutes until cooked.
